SYNERGY OF SERRA ROADMAP UPDATE
We will update The Compendium of Serra to reflect all of this new information. We are also planning to keep you on your toes about the announcement of the start date for the Crate Unlocking Event, so stay alert. We can also confirm that the Crate Unlocking Event will not be this year but in 2022. We feel that this more accurately reflects how you will experience this wonderful occasion as you will be opening your Transcendent Set crates, not us. We are renaming the Crate Opening Event to the Crate Unlocking Event. Crate Opening Event to Crate Unlocking Event It was a mistake to leave it in The Compendium of Serra and to leave it circulating in the community. However, please accept our apology for falling into the trap of naming an estimated date for the launch of the Closed Alpha. We make no excuses for wanting to deliver the best product we possibly can. With this in mind, we wanted to inform you that the Closed Alpha will now not launch before the end of 2022 and it will launch in waves of invites, but we will not be setting any dates for it.ĭespite what some people will try to make out, it is very typical for games in development to miss published expected dates for release. Therefore, from now on, you will never see us assign a date to any of our roadmap features until they are ready for launch. However, our philosophy has always been not to publish any release dates. We understand that the community wants release dates for new features and milestones. Of course, we have internal goals that we set in terms of timelines, but these are often flexible because we want to be the very best that we can be. We prioritise quality and perfection over standing by any arbitrary dates. We also want to share some information with you so that you are more aware of what work is in progress and what work we have completed.
