It’s an interesting one because I’m genuinely not averse to game difficulty and I’m ok with these games being as challenging as they want to be - at least in modes where that’s advertised upfront (like the mode that’s literally called “Challenge” mode!). Interesting that they’re patching the time requirements. Always nice to come into this section of the forum and see you and Tappin Brews keeping this thread bubbling along on page 1! Hope you’re both keeping well. Hey there Honolulu Blue, nice to see you again, the new avatar threw me off for a second (well, I don't know how new it is, but I am barely active in other threads here). And if you are having trouble with other challenges don't hesitate and ask for help in here. So hang in there, you eventually will beat them all, I'm sure. I did videos of all of them, and Fog at Arganil is one of the most watched, one guy commented that he can't get past this to save his life. But I generally liked the idea of having a tougher challenge with these tbh. The Peugeot 205 is also quite the beast, possibly the best from that era, and while it is also hard to control, it is at least fun imo.

I use a lot of the older cars in quickplay, but I never drove the Fiat and the Lancia 037 again. Others are not nearly as punishing as both of those (at least that is how I remember it). I hated both cars tbh, both are very hard to control.

But there were two events that were absolute torture for me at the beginning and they were both events with Walter Röhrl as a driver (it only cemented him as a legend in my eyes after having driven them), so the one you already beat (the fact you can not see shit certainly did not help) and the second one is the one with Lancia 037 (Acropolis Rally 1983).

They are going to adjust the times you need to reach with a patch, don't know if it's the one aready released on PC and XBOX (and still MIA on PSN) or a later one.

Kyle Bosman in his last Delayed Input mentioned a promo code for the game at Chipotle and getting 5 "challenge swaps" for free and I thought that this was among the dumbest shit I have heard in a while.Ĭlick to shrink.Hey there Honolulu Blue, nice to see you again, the new avatar threw me off for a second (well, I don't know how new it is, but I am barely active in other threads here). Or to quote the best sci-fi series that unfortunately ended yesterday: "The more you share, the more your bowl will be plentiful." So I am already unveiling my secret weapon, but have also started to link to his setups in the descrpition of my videos. But I think I am gettng a better grasp at tinkering with it myself, which is a nice bonus. He knows his shit and his setups are really great, even for wheel.Īnd I already noticed that the default setup for the Skoda in the dc was pretty shit, the 5th gear was practically useless. That's the first thing I usually do with every track, see if I can find a setup done by him, going even back to his WRC 9 setups sometimes. If you really want to get back to WRC 10 (or anyone else for that matter), I strongly recommend checking out the setups done by Lars Krachen on wrcsetups, he is the one I mentioned earlier.
